The Alliance of Leading Learning is proud to announce we have been awarded one of only five national licences to deliver the DfE Governor Development Programme from March 2018. The award of this licence bares testament to the expertise of our core team and our previous work with over 2,000 Governors under our previous licence.
We are thrilled we can continue to build on our reputable success in providing gold standard professional learning in governance which has had proven life changing impact on children and young people.
The Alliance of Leading Learning are a school led inclusive partnership representing all phases and school contexts nationally and internationally and comes to the market of governor training with an established reputation as a “gold standard” (NCTL 2013) provider of impact driven development. Since 2013 the core team for Governor training in the Alliance of Leading Learning have run the NCTL regional licence in the North West, West Midlands and Yorkshire and Humber. Our expert team were key in developing the leadership Governor Leadership Programmes for vice, aspiring and existing chairs and the Clerks’ training programme
The Executive Director of The Alliance of Leading Learning, Cavelle Priestley-Bird explained: “This is an exciting new programme which will explore and develop governors’ leadership skills and ensure they acquire the required high level of professional knowledge of governance. We are intent on supporting governors in a rapidly changing educational landscape and ensure that the right expertise exists to enhance a self-improving system.”
