NPQH Programme for Headteachers is Launched

On Friday 10th November, the Alliance of Leading Learning launched the new “National Professional Qualification for Headteachers” programme with the first cohort on the newly devised NPQH, hosted at Crewe Hall Hotel.

The day enabled the leaders to consider, ‘What is great leadership?’, ‘What kind of leader am I?’ and ‘What does it take to be an effective Headteacher?’ as well as details on modules, residentials, the final assessment process and consideration of their home-school and placement school project.

Cavelle Priestley-Bird, Executive Director of the Alliance of Leading Learning, commented “It is a privilege to work with such an enthusiastic and professional group and we look forward to meeting our second cohort on Friday 17th November.” She continued, “Thank you to Crewe Hall Hotel which once again proved to be second to non in providing impressive surroundings and excellent conference facilities.”

A participant of the programme commented, “I found the whole day extremely worthwhile. The focus on leadership styles was enlightening and I’m looking forward to moving through the rest of the programme.”
